The Abu al-Abbas al-Mursi Mosque is the most iconic mosque in Alexandria.
It was built in the 13th century and beautifully rebuilt in the 20th century in traditional Islamic style.
The mosque is dedicated to the Andalusian Sufi saint Abu al-Abbas al-Mursi.
Its elegant domes, tall minarets, and detailed carvings make it a major spiritual and architectural landmark of the city.
